Volunteer wanted

Dear Biomch-L subscribers,

All three Biomch-L moderators will be attending the ISB congress
in July. We do not want to operate the list unattended during
that period, because there is always the possibility that things
go wrong. There have been several 'mail loops' recently, and
these can quickly fill up the mailboxes of all subscribers.

What we need is someone who is willing to log in once or twice
every day during the first three weeks of July, to see if
everything is normal. In case of a mail loop, distribution of
mail should be stopped immediately. All other, normal list
management can wait until the moderators are back. Chances are
that nothing needs to be done, but someone should be ready to act
in case of emergencies. This action could be as simple as
telling the LISTSERV coordinator (Hans-Ulrich Giese) at HEARN
about the problem.

So, we are asking for a volunteer. Some knowledge of LISTSERV
would be helpful, but not really necessary. Please let us know
if you are willing to help.
