RESEARCH ENGINEER BIOMECHANICS
The Transportation Research Center Inc. is seeking a biomechanics research eng
ineer (electronics expertise a plus) to conduct and manage projects in its Veh
icle Research and Test Division. Position entails conducting research and tes
ting related to the biomechanics of vehicle occupants and pedestrians includin
g evaluation, design, and development of crash test dummies and associated ins
trumentation.
Candidates should have BS or MS in mechanical, biomedical, electrical/electron
ic engineering (or comparable discipline) with demonstrated knowledge of mathe
matics, engineering mechanics, mechanical engineering, structures, and machine
design. Electronics expertise will be strongly considered. Excellent writte
n and verbal communications required. Experience or interest in transportatio
n-related research environment preferred.
