Position in Applied Exercise Physiology
The School of Kinesiology in the College of Applied Health Sciences at the
University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) invites applications for a
tenure/tenure-track applied exercise physiology position at the Associate
to Full Professor level. The successful candidate must have a doctoral
degree and an established record of excellence in teaching, research and
program development. This position is uniquely designed for a candidate who
is interested in leading the continued development of a new undergraduate
curriculum in exercise and fitness, teaching in both undergraduate and
graduate programs as well as developing research ties with a diverse group
of clinically related exercise studies at UIC. The School of Kinesiology is
looking to attract an individual who seeks to enhance their
research/scholarship opportunities through collaborations with others in
Kinesiology, Disability, Human Nutrition and Transplant Surgery. The
University of Illinois at Chicago offers a highly interactive,
interdisciplinary research environment within the College of Applied Health
Sciences as well as with the Colleges of Medicine, Engineering and Nursing.
