School of Health - Stoke Campus
Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Sport Health and Exercise £22,191 - £34,191 per
annum
The position in one or more of the following areas:
Bio-mechanics Structural and Exercise Kinesiology
Building on excellent scores in recent Teaching Quality and
Research Assessment evaluations, the Sport, Health and Exercise
department wishes to enhance its teaching and research team in
the above areas. Applications are invited from candidates with
experience in one or more of the above areas.
Successful applicants will be highly motivated specialists with a
first degree in the sport and exercise sciences or a related
discipline, together with a postgraduate qualification in an
appropriate area (or equivalent relevant experience). External
research and consultancy within Sport, Health and Exercise is an
expanding area of the department's activity.
Thus, BASES (or similar) accreditation and experience of delivering
services or consultancy to high performance athletes would be a
considerable advantage. Successful candidates must also
demonstrate a strong interest in postgraduate education and
continuing professional development in sport and be able to
contribute to planned expansions in this sector.
