Dear All,
Recently, there was a question about generating heterogeneous FE models
based on CT-scans. It seems that there are only 2 ways to do that:
1. Using MIMICS software from Materialise (www.materialise.com)
2. Using ScanFE software from Simpleware (http://www.simpleware.co.uk)
Even with the discounts offered for educational licenses, they are still
very expensive.
Are there any other ways, using less expensive software or custom code,
to generate heterogeneous FE models based on CT-scans?
