  • outcome measures for gait parameters

    Dear all

My MSc student is conducting a simple gait analyses on children with cerebral palsy. She wants to take measures on the outcome parameters, such as step length, stride length, cadence, velocity. However, due to limited access to electronic measurement tool at her worksite, we want to ask if anyone can share their experience of using very simple but reliable tool or method to measure such parameters under such "constrained" environment; or anyone could enlighten us with any possibilities in "renting" simple electronic equipment, such as GaitRite, for temporal use in Hong Kong. At this moment, footprint is the only tool we can think of; but is there any better one?

    Thanks in advance
