The Departments of Bioengineering, and Kinesiology at The University of
Toledo proudly invite you to attend the 27th Annual Meeting of the
American Society of Biomechanics to be held September 25-27, 2003.

CONFERENCE VENUE:
The meeting will take place on the Bancroft campus of The University of
Toledo within the College of Engineering in the newly constructed
Nitschke Hall.

Early registration deadline: August 1st, 2003
Conference dates: September 25-27, 2003
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

CONFERENCE PROGRAM
The organizers of ASB2003 are planning a very exciting and
scientifically memorable program that will include keynote lectures from
prominent scientists in the discipline of biomechanics, symposia, free
communications (podium and poster), tutorials and workshops.
TRAVEL TO TOLEDO
The city of Toledo is located in the Northwest region of the state of
Ohio, on the southwestern tip of Lake Erie. Located just 45 minutes
south of Detroit, MI, travelers may use air transportation to arrive at
the Wayne County Metro Airport or the Toledo Express airport. Ground
transportation (car rentals, taxis, and shuttle service) is available
from both airports. Links to driving maps are available on the

LODGING
Conference attendees will be staying at either the Clarion Inn Hotel or
the Comfort Inn Motel, and will take advantage of The University of
Toledo negotiated rate of $69.00 (U.S.$)/night and the Clarion Inn, and
$55.00(U.S.$)/night at the Comfort Inn. Lodging at the Clarion include
a complimentary full breakfast bar in the hotel restaurant and a
continental breakfast at the Comfort Inn. When making reservations call
(419) 535-7070 and indicate you are with the American Society of
Biomechanics. Reservations must be made by August 26, 2003.
