I am a senior mechanical engineer, my team and I are working on designing
and assembling a linear drive system (similar to the motion of a stair
stepper) for the human powered submarine. We are interested in obtaining a
chart for the optimum power stroke of the human leg, i.e. power output vs.
distance into the stroke. I was told that this listserv would be a good
consultant in this matter, if anyone could help us out in any way that would
be great.
