I am currently finishing up a Masters degree in the area of
occupational biomechanics/ergonomics. My thesis project focuses on the
compressive forces generated on the lower back of nursing staff during
high risk activities (patient transfers, etc.). In the fall - I will
be starting a Ph.D. program. The school I am attending does not have
any full-time faculty working in this area...so I've had to put things
together myself with little funding. I was wondering if anyone knows
of potential funding sources that would provide funding for these types
of projects. Thanks in advance.
