URGENT - Position open for April 1, 2003:
Scientist in Experimental Orthopaedics (MD with research experience or PhD)
in the area of endoprosthetic research, molecular adhesion stimulation,
implant surface alterations.
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in the Biomechanics
Laboratory of the
Orthopaedic Department, Hannover Medical School (Germany). The
endoprosthetics group has interest in a dedicated researcher on a key
scientific project regarding the surface alteration of endoprosthesis and
implants.
The candidate should have a background in bioengineering/biology or
medicine with interest on molecular alteration of bone/implant interfaces.
Further required are experiences in animal care and biomechanical test
set-ups.
Funding is available for 4 years. Written and spoken English language
skills are required, German is desirable.
