  • CFP Synthetic Humanoid Motion (extension)

    Dear Colleague,

Due to a shortage of papers, the deadline for submission has been
extended to 15th March. Please take advantage of this change to submit a
paper to the session on Synthetic Humanoid Motion.

    Yours sincerely,

    Josh Hale.

    Dear Colleague,

I would like to invite you to the 10th ISPE International Conference on
Concurrent Engineering: Research and Applications, and in particular
to make a submission to the "Synthetic Humanoid Motion" session.

I would also be very grateful if you would forward this message to
any groups or individuals who might find it of interest.

    Session Title: Synthetic Humanoid Motion
Conference area: Demonstrating feasibility and applicability

Humanoid robots have developed significantly in the last few
years, and computer graphics also facilitates photorealistic
images of humanoids. The upcoming challenge for synthetic
humanoids is the generation of realistic human-like motion.

This session focuses on techniques and results relevant to
the realistic animation of synthetic humanoids. This includes
but is not limited to: motion control, empirical results based
on pyschovisual or psychomotor experiments, theoretical results
based on human or synthetically generated motion, and novel
techniques for motion capture or data manipulation.
