The United States Olympic Committee is seeking a Head, Biomechanics to
manage the Sport Biomechanics Department. Develop plans to manage overall
sport biomechanics service and education needs of USOC family. Develop
strong working relationships with other key USOC divisions in order to
enhance the ability of the department to serve athletes and coaches.
Provide biomechanics service, education, and consultation for elite
athletes and coaches as a member of the Coaching and Sport Sciences
Division.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Administrative experience, including budget management.
* Ph.D. in biomechanics or related field.
* Demonstrated supervisory skills.
* Minimum 7 years experience testing and evaluation of athletes, and
interpretation or sport science test results.
* Proven publication record.
* Demonstrated ability to design and implement applied research projects
and present results in a peer review forum.
* Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
* International and domestic travel required.
