  • Looking for a computational knee model

Looking for a computational knee model, including femoral and tibial
geometry, ligament properties, patella, and muscles
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am currently developing a force-sensing device for total knee
arthroplasty to help the surgeon balance the ligaments. This new device
intraoperatively measures the amplitude and location of the compressive
    force for each condyle.

In order to validate and "understand" (interprete) our measurements from a
biomechanical point of view, we would like to use a computational knee
model which includes femoral, tibial geometry, ligament properties, patella
    and muscles.

Can anybody point out references of similar work?
Is there a platform/software which allows easy implementation of such a
    model?

Thanks in advance for your contributions.

Technology and Biomechanics, University of Bern.
