Tenure Track Faculty Position (9 months) in Exercise Science -- Biomechanics
& Athletic Training
Requirements: Doctoral degree required. NATA BOC required. Previous
collegiate teaching experience preferred.
Teaching/Primary Responsibilities:
TEACHING. Undergrad courses in Biomechanics for PE majors and minors;
Athletic training courses in Pathology/Prevention and Pharmacology in a
CAAHEP accredited program; may also teach courses from the following areas,
depending on expertise: motor development, anatomy and physiology,
fitness/wellness.
RESEARCH. Involvement in scholarly/research activities in area(s) of
expertise. Biomechanics equipment available: PEAK Motus 2-D system, 60 Hz
camera.
SERVICE. Membership on Departmental, College, and University committees;
membership and service to appropriate professional associations.
Additional Responsibilities to Include: Chairing master's degree theses in
area(s) of expertise, serving on master's degree thesis committees.
Rank: Assistant or Associate Professor, depending on experience and
qualifications. Salary contingent on qualifications and experience.
