  • Call for Proposals: Contributions to the 2nd EditionInternational Encyclopedia of Ergonomics and Human Factors

    Dear Biomch-L readers:

    This note serves as an open invitation to all individuals from all over the world to propose an article about the topics that were either NOT covered in the first edition of the Encyclopedia or those for which the current coverage needs to extended due to significant advances in the field. The specific categories of articles we are looking for are:
    1 - Technical articles (about a scientific subject).
    2 - Short articles about the existing professional ergonomics/ human factors societies.
    3 - Short articles about other thematic societies relevant to the ergonomics/ human factors discipline.

    SUBMISSIONS
    If you are willing to contribute an article for the second edition of the Encyclopedia please submit your proposal.

    The proposal should include:
    * Your correct email address
    * Full name
    * Your current position
    * Full postal address + Tel/fax
    * Your short bio (250 words)- please do not send a full resume
    * PROPOSED TOPIC(S)
    * SUGGESTIONS IF ANY to the following:
    1.The missing topics (new articles that need to be written for the 2nd edition).
    2.The potential authors with their names and e-mail addresses who should be contributing to the Encyclopedia.

    Please send an e-mail addressed to: editor@louisville.edu no later than April 30, 2003.
