The School of Human Movement Studies provides world-class teaching,
research and service programs covering the full spectrum of the
bio-physical, socio-cultural, and health aspects of movement and
physical activity.
The School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated,
international-calibre scholar to teach, supervise postgraduate
research students and conduct research on the biomechanics of human
movement.
Applicants should possess a relevant PhD, a track record of research
publications, capability to attract external research funding, and a
demonstrable commitment to quality teaching and supervision.
Expertise in the biomechanics of injury, disability or disease would
be advantageous. Joint appointment with the School of Engineering may
be possible for an appointee with appropriate background, research
interests and skills.
This is a continuing, full-time appointment available at Academic
Levels B, C or D. The remuneration package, including employer
superannuation contributions of 17%, will be in the range of $64,285
to $76,338 per annum (Level B), $78,749 to $90,802 per annum (Level
C), and $94,820 to $104,463 per annum (Level D).
