    A graduate research assistant position is available in the Dynamics of
    Human Motion Laboratory at Dalhousie University. The area of research is
    in the study of kinetic and electromyographic characteristics associated
    with total knee joint replacement failure, and identifying appropriate
    therapeutic interventions to minimize failure. Clinicians, researchers and
    students from a variety of disciplines work in a collaborative environment
    in this state of the art laboratory. Preference will be given to students with
    a physiotherapy degree although students with expertise relating to clinical
    biomechanics and therapeutic exercise are encouraged to apply. A strong
    mathematics or statistics background would be an asset. Students will have
    to meet the requirements for one of the following three programs at
    Dalhousie University: an M.Sc. program in Physiotherapy, a M.A.Sc. in
    Biomedical Engineering or a Ph.D. in Physiology and Biophyiscs.
