  • Posdoctoral Positions - Motor Control

    Postdoctoral Positions in the Motor Control Laboratory at Arizona State
    University available immediately to study control and coordination
    issues in goal-oriented movements from a multilevel perspective.
    Studies involve healthy young adults, the elderly and Parkinson's
    Disease patients and are supported by NIH research grants. Opportunities
    are available for collaborations in Bioengineering at ASU and at
    neighboring institutions like Barrow Neurological Institute and Mayo
    Clinic Scottsdale. The Motor Control Laboratory has a research and
    training grant that supports a seminar series, biomedical lecture series
    and specialized training opportunities. The individual hired may also
    relate to a NSF research and training grant on "Neural Adaptations to
    Form and Function" that involves 3 departments. Qualifications
    preferred include a Ph.D. in movement science or related area,
    familiarity and knowledge of kinematic and kinetic analyses, interest in
    preparing grant applications and a willingness to participate in
    interdisciplinary research. Initial appointment is for two years with
    the possibility for extension if funds are available. Excellent salary
