Assistant/Associate Professor

The Department of Kinesiology and Health is seeking an
assistant/associate professor (tenure-track) in biomechanics to begin
August of 2003 (start date is negotiable). Qualifications include an
earned doctorate in biomechanics or related field, evidence of
successful college teaching experience and strong evidence of scholarly
activity. The successful candidate will direct the Biomechanics and
Ergonomics Laboratory (BEL) and coordinate the graduate and doctoral
program concentrations in biomechanics. The BEL is a well equipped,
2800 sq. ft. research and teaching facility. The candidate will also
develop and maintain an active research program, seek external funding,
advise students, and contribute to department, college and university
committees. Salary negotiable depending on qualifications and
