    POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER




    A postdoctoral researcher position (up to 18 months) is available in the NCBES, to work on a major new research project in the area of medical device development and tissue engineering. In particular the research will include physiological simulator design and development, machine design and control, and mechanical testing of cardiovascular tissues and biomaterials. Ideally, applicants should have experience in control systems. In addition, knowledge of software packages such as LabView would be an advantage.



    Applicants will ideally have a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering, materials engineering, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or in a related discipline.
