Institute of Health & Biomedical Innovation Scholarships
Graduates with first class Honours or equivalent are invited to apply for
mid year entry scholarships funded by QUT’s Institute of Health
and Biomedical Innovation (IHBI). The Institute is a dynamic research
facility, in the early stages of establishment, integrating disciplines
in Health, Science and Biomedical Engineering.
The scholarships will provide commencing PhD students an opportunity for
advanced research training within the main programs of research:
Advanced Diagnostics and Devices
Health Development
Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation
Molecular Farming
Tissue Bio Regeneration
Vision Improvement

The scholarships offer a stipend of AUD$23,294 per annum (tax free).
Applicants will normally be Australian citizens or permanent residents of
Australia, and have a background in any of the listed research areas.
Certified copies of academic records, a curriculum vitae and academic
referee reports should be forwarded along with the QUT PR scholarship
application form. Applications close 31 July 2003.
