An announcement has been posted about a week ago about the German course on
EMG and foot pressure distribution measurements. Several people have asked me
if it will all be in the German language. Sorry that the message has been
unclear, but YES both the EMG and foot pressure course and the conference on
Pathology of the arch of the foot will all be in the German language.

After a very successful German speaking course for movement and gait analysis
last February in Münster, the German Speaking Society for Movement Analysis is
now organising a second course in Mainz. It is an introductory course in
German on surface electromyography (EMG) and foot pressure distribution
measurements. It will be held on 11-12 October 2003 at the University of
Mainz, Germany.
The main topics covered will be:
Background knowledge, measurement techniques, data analysis, clinical
applications and hands on practice of foot pressure distribution measurements
and surface electromyography (EMG).
This course is organized in cooperation with the conference on ‘Bad on your
feet: Pathology of the arch of the foot’ (‘Schlecht zu Fuss: Die Pathologie
des Fussgewoelbes’) held on 10-11 October 2003 at the same location (contact
MD Andrea Meurer at meurer@mail.uni-mainz.de).
A great opportunity to familiarize yourself or intensify your knowledge on
different foot pathologies, electromyography and foot pressure distribution
measurements, all in 1 weekend.
