Position Announcement Research Assistant
University of Oregon Motor Control Lab
Requirements:
Knowledge in EMG, biomechanics, computer programming, MS Windows/Office
environment, experience in collecting kinematic, and/or force data.
Masters degree in Biomechanics or Motor Control preferred.
Duties include:
- Writing and/or modifying existing MATLAB programs to analyze force,
EMG, and kinematic data collected from the Peak Motus system.
- Maintaining computer network, software licensing, and security updates.
- Assisting with data collection and analysis as needed
- Serve as liaison between the laboratory and various university and non
university support.
- Providing biomechanics and EMG expertise to graduate students
- Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment including Peak motion
analysis system, custom hydraulic movable force platform, Motion Lab
Systems surface EMG, etc.
Salary: $22,000 - $26,000 depending on degree and experience
