  • ISEK2004 Call for Papers

On behalf of the International Society of Electrophysiology and
Kinesiology (ISEK), it is our great pleasure to invite you to the XVth
International Congress, which will be held on June 18-21, 2004 at Boston
    University, Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

The Society aims to promote and teach the disciplines of
electromyography and kinesiology in normal, pathological, and
experimental conditions emphasizing the interactive use of the two
disciplines. Our members include a broad range of professionals, such as
medical doctors, scientists, physiotherapists, engineers, technicians
and others who have an interest in research and clinical applications of
    electrophysiology and kinesiology.

Celebrate the Congress theme, "An Invitation to Innovation" in a city
known for academic achievement, scientific innovation, and a diverse
culture. ISEK2004 will feature pre-Congress workshops on Dynamics of
Movement, EMG and Incontinence, Motor Unit Decomposition, and
Prosthetics/Orthotics; mini-symposia on Biomaterials and Sports Injury,
TMS and Movement/Sensation, and Spinal Pain Disorders; 6 keynote
lectures; 3 parallel sessions covering 17 Scientific Tracks; joint
ISEK/ISB session; exhibits; and more. Awards include the John Basmajian
Student Award for Best Presentation/Poster and the DelSys Prize for EMG
Innovation. Social events will include a cocktail reception, performance
art using wearable sensors, a Boston Harbor "Blues Cruise", and more.

We invite you to learn new ideas, share in the scientific program, and
enjoy the company of colleagues in the surroundings of Boston.

Please visit the ISEK2004 Congress website at http://isek2004.bu.edu for
    further information.
