    Salary: RA1A Grade £18,265 - £20,311 plus £2,134 London Allowance per annum

    Applications are invited for a research associateship to work with Professor
    Robert Schroter and Dr. Denis Doorly on the dynamics of flow and transport
    in the human nasal cavity. This is a BBSRC-sponsored programme with
    funding for up to three years. You will be engaged primarily in
    experimental studies, such as high speed laser visualization and PIV of flow
    in realistic model geometries, but will also work closely with a second
    Research Associate on computational modelling.

    You should hold a doctorate in the broad area of fluid dynamics, although
    applicants with a good Masters or equivalent degree will also be considered.
    Previous experience of PIV would be an advantage and proven capability in
    CFD/Cad would be of benefit. You must be able to demonstrate the ability
    to conduct research in this broad area and should be able to assist in the
    training of other researchers and students in the techniques used for the
