    Mr. Parlak:

    If your objective is to measure the static and fatigue properties of your
    metallic implants, I would suggest that you first look up the ASTM F1717-01
    standard for testing of spinal constructs;
    see www.astm.org then type in the above standard number. It will cost to
    download. Use the UHMWP blocks as your vertebral bodies and then follow the
    ASTM protocol for loading conditions.
