Tenure-Track Appointment

REHABILITATION/THERAPY

York University, Toronto, Ontario. Applications are invited for a
tenure-track appointment at the Assistant Professor level in
Rehabilitation/Therapy. Rehabilitation and therapy can be in a variety
of areas including neural, cardiovascular and musculoskeletal
disorders. A background in Athletic Therapy and biomechanics would be
an asset. Starting date is July1, 2004. A Ph.D. is required. Duties
will include undergraduate and graduate teaching and supervision in the
Graduate Program in Kinesiology and Health Science (M.A., M.Sc. and
Ph.D.). The present Masters and Doctoral programs cover health-related
aspects of exercise physiology, motor control, biomechanics, psychology
and fitness. Applications from individuals with an interest in health
and knowledge of the effects of physical activity are particularly
welcome. High priority will be given to a previous and promising
publication record in refereed journals and the ability to develop a
productive research program supported by external funding.
