Becker Orthopedic is a leading manufacturer of orthotic componentry located
in Troy, Michigan. We are currently seeking to fill the following position:
TITLE: Product Development Engineer
This is an entry-level position. The successful candidate will be involved
with all aspects of product design and also support manufacturing
engineering and quality assurance activities. The ideal candidate will
possess the following skills: experience in mechanical design; competence in
general computing, software, and hardware; familiarity with computer aided
design (CAD) systems; and the ability to interact and collaborate with
affiliated staff.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Baccalaureate or Masters degree in one of the following
areas: biomechanical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical
engineering, biomedical engineering or human factors engineering. Recent
graduates encouraged to apply. Knowledge of and/or experience with elements
of design, including concept generation, development, CAD, testing, quality
assurance and post-production support are desired.
Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
