As our Category Product Test Supervisor, you'll manage a team of our
Category Product Test Analysts and Coordinators and serve as a senior
technical testing resource. You'll provide coaching, mentoring and training
to your direct reports and act as an expert resource for the other members
of the Category Product Test (CPT) team. You'll also oversee training and
development needs for the CPT team; act as a resource and knowledge
repository for the cross-categorical and functional Product teams in regard
to product integrity, the consumer, project management and product testing;
and manage all aspects of cross-categorical testing for our US, Asia,
Americas and Europe regions. This opportunity also involves managing testing
for projects that require special expertise due to technically complicated
or advanced technologies, a cross-categorical nature, high risk of exposure,
or are otherwise complicated or demanding. In addition, you'll develop and
maintain knowledge of footwear manufacturing processes in order to improve
the quality and depth of product testing recommendations for the Product
Testing team.
Requirements for the position include:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Sensory Analysis, Scientific
Test Design and Analysis, Biomechanics, Psychology or a related analytical
field
- 5 years' experience in the sensory testing industry
- 2 years' management or leadership experience
- Experience in footwear
- In depth understanding of footwear components, materials and
product processes
- Experience in development, engineering or product
marketing/consumer research
- Extensive experience in sensory testing with consumer
products and a strong technical background
- Sensory testing expertise
- Exceptional technical writing skills and experience coaching
others in this area
- Able to analyze test results and qualitative data in a
concise and understandable manner
- 2 years' experience in a senior product testing analyst role
is preferred
