  • The science of wading

Is anyone aware of any research that has been or is being done on the
mechanics of wading in shallow water? Specifically, I am interested in how
water velocity and depth affect someone's ability to safely (or not) walk in
shallow running water. I have found lots of resources that explain wading
safety, but nothing that quantifies the process. Thanks for your help,

    John
