FORMAT: Invited lectures from international experts will be
complemented by podium and poster presentations from symposium
participants. Also special sessions on invited topics will be
included. At present 160 free abstracts and 28 Plenary presentations
will make up the programme.

SPECIAL INTEREST SESSIONS
The following special interest sessions will be held and
contributions are welcome in these areas:
· Modelling and response of materials, maxillofacial
repair/reconstruction in Dental Healthcare
· Computer assisted surgical techniques
· Simulation and modelling and interfacing in Rapid Prototyping and
Manufacturing
· The cyber infrastructure: integrating computer modelling and
simulation within the clinical environment
SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS
Contributed papers will be selected on the basis of submitted
abstracts, which should be in English and are not to exceed 300 words
(one page). Abstracts are invited by 5 December authors will be
informed of acceptance by 12 December 03. Abstracts should be
submitted in MS Word (.doc) or Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) and emailed to
gartnera@cardiff.ac.uk

PROCEEDINGS OF THE PREVIOUS SYMPOSIUM.
The proceedings of the previous symposium, held in Rome 2001, which
