Dear Colleague,
You are kindly invited to participate in the Bio-engineering track of the
7th Biennial ASME Conference on Engineering Systems Design and Analysis
ESDA 2004. This conference will be hosted by the University of Manchester
from 19 to 22 July 2004, and is sponsored by ASME and the University of
Manchester and co-sponsored by the UK Institution of Mechanical Engineers
and Loughborough University.
The bioengineering track will address the following topics:
· Bio-Heat and Mass Transfer
· Bone Mechanics
· Cardiovascular Fluid Mechanics
· Cardiovascular Solid Mechanics
· Cellular Engineering and Mechanics
· Computational Biomechanics
· Dental Engineering
· Heat Transfer in Medicine and Biology
· Human Structure Interaction
· Spine Biomechanics
· Occupant Protection/Vehicular Biomechanics
ESDA 2004 will provide a forum for researchers and engineers, from
industry, academia and research establishments, to discuss and exchange
ideas, methods and results in contemporary topics in mechanical
engineering.
It offers an excellent opportunity for the discipline of Biomechanics (and
Biomedical Engineering at large) to enhance its visibility and to take its
place in the area of state of the art mechanical engineering.
Please find all conference details as well as on online abstract
submission entry at the ESDA conference website
http://www.asmeconferences.org/ESDA04 or http://www.eng.man.ac.uk/esda2004.
The abstract submission deadline is December 24, 2003
I welcome all your suggestions or questions.
Yours sincerely,
Georges Van der Perre
