  • Statistics software

    Dear all,

I have been having a trouble using statistics packages for motor
learning/control research. I usually need statistics software to perform
repeated measures ANOVA's and to make line/bar graphs with standard
error/deviation bars. Statistics packages that I have used include SPSS,
Origin, StatView and JMP. However, I am quite frustrated with these packages
because of their limited capabilities. For example, JMP has a nice function
to easily perform a repeated measures ANOVA, although it does not have a
capability to make line/bar graphs with std err bars. On the other hand,
StatView has a capability to make those graphs very easily, although
performing a repeated measures ANOVA in StatView is not so easy. (StatView
    has been discontinued anyway.)

So, I was just wondering if anyone could help me find a nice statistics
package that will allow me to both perform repeated measures ANOVA and make
graphs with std err bars easily. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Sincerely,

    Jinsung Wang, Ph.D.
