Product Development Engineer: You will design and develop custom and special order requests. This includes communication with surgeons and sales consultants, understanding the clinical issues, defining the design parameters, and ensuring the correct product is provided to the customer. Detailed information below! POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Design and develop new implants and instrumentation and develops improvements and modifications to current products. * Interacts with surgeon, manufacturing, regulatory affairs, sales consultants, product managers, and other functional departments to define and develop product requirements and concepts. * Work directly with surgeons for design concept development, prototype and cadaver evaluation, and clinical follow-up. * Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. * Ensure compliance with FDA, and to support 510(k) submissions or IDE clinical studies. * Develop mechanical test protocols according to ASTM standards and coordinate the activities required to fabricate test parts and complete mechanical testing. * Work with manufacturing during the design stages to incorporate manufacturability into the product designs. * Responsible for the all designs from concept development through product launch. EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: * Three to seven years experience in the design and development of mechanical MEDICAL products (implants or related instrumentation). * Knowledge of CAD software (Pro-E, Medusa, AutoCad, Ideas, etc.). * BS in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) required. * Experience in medical equipment industry required. * Strong communication and interaction skills, with the ability to interface with surgeons and sales/marketing personnel.

Product Manager: Multiple openings for Product Managers who are experienced in the medical implant industry. Will be responsible for defining and developing those concepts and techniques necessary for competing in the medical implant marketplace. POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Manage the initiation and development of new and existing product lines. * Analyze the positioning of products and competitors to identify strategies for differentiation and increased sales and market shares. * Achieve sales and operating profit objectives. * Review current business for potential line extensions or new use development programs. * Will be aware of and play an active role in product acquisition efforts. * Will travel 20% of the time. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: * 4 to 5 years product management experience; 3-5 years of project management and/or sales experience also desired. * Bachelors Degree in Business or related field is required; MBA preferred. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: * Must have a solid understanding of market planning and development, forecasting, financial analysis/budgeting and overall marketing management. * Knowledge and experience with new product development and introduction processes are essential. * Must have a sound technical understanding of surgery and the O.R. environment. * Excellent oral and written communication skills.
