Cell Mechanics Rehabilitation Bioinstrumentation
Cardiovascular Computers in Medicine Medical Robotics
Orthopaedic Mechanics Biotechnology Clinical Engineering
Pulmonary Mechanics Tissue Engineering Gait Analysis
Biomaterials Medical Imaging Wound Healing
Biosensors Lasers in Medicine Biomedical Ethics

General and student papers are solicited on new developments in theory,
concepts, applications, and techniques in all facets of Biomedical
Engineering. Attendance and professional program paper presentation by
indivduals from areas outside of the South are encouraged and welcome.
Those interested in organizing sessions and company exhibitions, please

Acceptance of abstract by ------------------- December 1, 1993
Submit full manuscript (up to 4 pages) by --- January 5, 1994
All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings book
which will be available at the meeting.

Undergraduate and graduate students as well as medical students and
residency candidates are encouraged to submit papers. Several awards
will be given to honor the best presentation in each student paper
category. Please indicate with your abstract if you wish your paper
to be considered for a student award.

Title (Bold and Centered)
Author(s) and Affiliation(s) (Centered)
A 500 word single spaced abstract should be right and left justified, if
possible, and should have one inch margins. Skip a line between paragraphs.
Printing should be done with a ribbon which will allow high quality
reproduction when abstract is copied.
