POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
for the
DIRECTOR OF ATHLETIC TRAINING EDUCATION PROGRAM
Job Title: PROGRAM DIRECTOR AND ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
Job Description: Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of
Exercise and Sport Sciences beginning August 16, 2004; three (3) year
continuing non-tenure-eligible position. Salary is competitive and
commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities: Primary responsibility is the day to day operation,
coordination, supervision, and evaluation of all aspects of a well-established
CAAHEP accredited Athletic Training Education Program. Other
responsibilities include teaching and student supervision. Specific
teaching responsibilities include athletic training coursework and
may include other undergraduate courses within the Department.
Qualifications: Earned Doctorate in related field and NATABOC certification
is required. ABD candidates considered. Evidence of college-level teaching
and potential for scholarly activity is required. At least three (3) years
experience in teaching, supervision, and clinical instruction within a
CAAHEP accredited program is preferred.
