  • On Behalf Of John Lowry

    John Lowry

I have found considerable kinematics differences at touch down in earlier studies (2D) between barefoot and shod running, but very small differences between calcaneal and tibial movements in a 3D bone pin study.

Conclusions are difficult establish because shoe markers and skin markers move relative to the underlying bone.

Would the members of this list be so kind as to share

their thoughts or direct me to research on barefoot

running versus running in running shoes? Thanks.
