Funding is available for two graduate research assistantships beginning
August 2004 in the Ball State University Biomechanics Laboratory,
    Muncie, Indiana.

    Program:

Students will enroll in a Master of Science degree, with a
specialization in Biomechanics. This is a 33-hour program of study
typically completed over two academic years. The program includes
coursework that addresses both clinical and sport applications of
    biomechanics.

    Responsibilities:

Graduate assistants are expected to contribute 20 hours per week to
current research projects in the Biomechanics Laboratory. There may also
be opportunities to teach undergraduate kinesiology laboratory classes.

For more information about current research taking place in the
Biomechanics Lab as well as the research facilities and equipment,
    please visit our website:

    Qualifications:

For admission into the Biomechanics Program, the main considerations
    are:

    1) The course background of the student (including physics, mechanics,
mathematics, computer science, anatomy, physiology, etc.) and

    2) The student's quantitative GRE score (preferably in the high 600's)

Outstanding students from the biological and engineering sciences are
    encouraged to apply.

    Applications:
