  • Help on video capture system for measuring strain

    Hi all,

I am designing a biaxial tension system for testing on soft tissue. I will
make some markers on the surface of tissue and
use a VDA (video dimensional analyzer) system to optically measure strain
online. I plan to buy some hardwares for seting up this system. The
typical sample size is 2*2cm^2, so the object field is very small.

    Is there
anyone who has experience in setting up this kind of system? If so, could
you please share some of your experience with me in choosing CCD digital
camera, VDA, and also software? Thank you very much for your help.

    Sincerely,
    Derek
