GAITLAB RESEARCH COORDINATOR/PHYSICAL THERAPIST
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA)
No motion analysis experience necessary.
Our Motion Analysis Laboratory is searching for a FULL-TIME PHYSICAL THERAPIST to join our laboratory team. Most of our patients have cerebral palsy and return for annual assessments. The duties include performing clinical evaluations, gross motor testing and orthotic and assistive device assessment for children with cerebral palsy, as well as isokinetic testing for various orthopedic diagnoses. This full-time role requires developing and organizing research projects, supervision of graduate level students, data collection and analysis, subject recruitment and participation in grant proposal and writing research publications.
Requirements: current PT Licensure, or be eligible for licensure to practice physical therapy in the state of Virginia.
Welcomed attributes (but not required): experience with motion analysis and an interest in contributing to clinical research projects.
