    Lecturer, Exercise Physiology/Sports Medicine
    CLOSING DATE: Open until filled
    DEPARTMENT: Kinesiology
    STARTING SALARY: Competitive and commensurate with qualifications.
    Generous benefits program.
    APPOINTMENT: 9 month lecturer appointment beginning August, 2004.
    Teaching summer school for additional salary may be possible. This is
    an annual appointment, with the possibility of renewal.

    DUTIES: The Kinesiology Department at Rice University
    (http://kinesiology.rice.edu/) is seeking an instructor with
    expertise in Exercise Physiology and Sports Medicine. This position
    offers an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic faculty of
    Kinesiology, gain teaching experience, and join an active research
    group. Responsibilities: Teach three undergraduate courses per
    semester in our Sports Medicine Program (Human Anatomy-both
    semesters, Exercise Physiology Lecture and Labs, Sports Medicine, and
    Advanced Exercise Physiology); advise undergraduate students; and
    fulfill other departmental faculty responsibilities as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS: ABD or Ph.D. in related field, and evidence of
    teaching experience and expertise.
