  • Research Engineer Position

    A research engineer position is available immediately in the
    Musculoskeletal Experimentation Facility at the Department of Biomedical
    Engineering, Cleveland Clinic Foundation. The engineer will work
    primarily under the supervision of Peter R. Cavanagh, PhD, but will also
    collaborate with other groups within the Biomechanics Laboratory on a
    need basis.

    The project will involve implementation of muscle actuator systems for
    cadaver simulations of musculoskeletal movements. BS/MS in engineering,
    hands-on experience on control systems, particularly force control of
    servo systems, and time-synchronized data acquisition are essential.
    Programming experience in Labview/CVI, Visual C, and Matlab is
    preferred. Background in biomechanics and ability to work with cadaver
    specimens are desirable.

    Position is available for full time; part time arrangements can be
