  • Assistant Professor - Biomechanics - University of Houston

    The Department of Health and Human Performance at the University of Houston
    has extended its search to fill a tenure-track, assistant professor position
    in the area of biomechanics. The position requires the teaching of graduate
    and undergraduate courses in biomechanics, development of a research program
    that incorporates successful student experiences and the seeking of external
    funding. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate competence
    in the measurement of human movement and the ability to teach motor behavior
    courses beyond biomechanics, examples of which may include motor development
    and adapted physical education. Candidates should have obtained a terminal
    degree in an appropriate field such as kinesiology or bioengineering.
