Post Doctoral Position at the University of British Columbia
Collaboration in Biomechanics and Animal Welfare
We have an active research program on reducing lameness and improving
housing conditions for dairy cattle, in part through an improved
understanding of biomechanics. We are seeking an individual with a
Ph.D. in biomechanics, preferably with in-depth experience in
recording and analysing 3D kinematic data. Experience working with
animals will also be considered an asset.
This position will be for 1 year, with the possibility of renewal for
a second year. Salary will be 27,000 to 34,000 $C depending on
experience.
Funding for this position is restricted to Canadian citizens, under
30 years of age with less than 3 years of postdoctoral experience.
