EUROPEAN WORKSHOP ON MOVEMENT SCIENCE

Vienna, Austria, June 2-4, 2005

FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT
AND
CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

The workshop intends to bring together researchers working on problems
and aspects of sensorimotor function in different domains such as -but
not limited to- Biology, Psychology, Sport Sciences, Neuroscience, and
Biomechanics. Such exchange across disciplines hopefully promotes more
unified, coherent models of the processes, capacities and nature of
motor control. The emphasis will be on human movement but contributions
based on non-human sensorimotor research are welcome.

It is hosted by the Workgroup for Movement Science of the Veterinary
University Vienna, and will be situated at the Veterinary University
Vienna, Austria, on June 2--4, 2005.
The previous EWOMS meetings were held at Munster, Germany.

Scientific Committee. Walter Herzog, Calgary, Canada; JA Scott Kelso,
Boca Raton, USA; Christian Peham, Vienna, Austria; Juergen Perl Mainz,
Germany, Wolfgang Schoellhorn, Muenster, Germany; Reza Shadmehr,
Baltimore, USA; Willem Verwey, Enschede, Netherlands; Alan Wing,
Birmingham, UK

We especially encourage researchers and students from the new EU member
to participate.
