>Postdoctoral Position in the Motor Control Laboratory, Department of
Kinesiology, Arizona State >University. Position available immediately to
study control and coordination issues in goal-oriented >movements. Studies
involve recording and analysis of arm movements and muscle activity in
young >and elderly adults, and Parkinson's Disease patients. The individual
hired will work with Dr. Natalia >Dounskaia and Prof. George Stelmach.
Collaborations with Bioengineering at ASU, Barrow >Neurological Institute
and Mayo Clinic Scottsdale, are available. It is preferred that the
applicant has >a Ph.D. in movement science or related area, familiarity and
knowledge of kinematic and kinetic >analyses, interest in preparing grant
applications and a willingness to participate in
interdisciplinary >research. Individuals with bioengineering background are
also encouraged to apply. Initial >appointment is for two years with the
