Dear Biomch-L's,
I would like to thank each one of you for the suggestions about this topic.
Each one was really precious.
Some solutions porposed are: 1) freeze-drying the ends to make them easier to
grasp and 2) putting an abrasive surface (such as sandpaper) between the clamp
and specimen; or 3) use a particular kind of clamps "custom made" as "sinusoidal clamps".
We are trying to evaluate each kind of solution in order to choose the best for our system, I'll let you know.
I would like to thanks in particular Dr. Mauricio Barrero for his kind attention and suggestions.
Thank you again.
