    Dear all,

    It is with great pleasure that I announce the Call for Abstracts for the
    Tenth Annual Meeting of the Gait and Clinical Movement Analysis Society to
    be held in Portland, Oregon from the 6th to 9th April 2005. Abstracts
    relating to all areas of gait and clinical movement analysis are invited.
    Within the program there will be a specific focus on the "Efficacy of
    Clinical Gait Analysis" and "Clinical Application of Advanced Modelling".
    All abstracts will be peer-reviewed but those relating to these subject
    areas will be particularly welcome.

    The home site for the Conference is: Details of format for submission
    of abstracts for both podium and poster presentations are available and the
    on-line submission process is now open.

    As in previous years there will be two two hour tutorial sessions. These
    will be determined on the basis of abstracts submitted through the
    web-site. GCMAS will cover the registration fee (including banquet) for up
    to two presenters of each tutorial selected by the Program and Education
    Committees for presentation.

    The timetable for abstract submission, review and notification of
    acceptance is:

    Call for Abstracts: Aug 16, 2004
    Submission Deadline: Nov 15, 2004
    Notification of Acceptance: Jan 17, 2005
    Early Registration: Feb 14, 2005

    Within the next few days more details of the conference will be added to
    the web-site indcluding highlights of the conference program. Keynote
    speakers will be:

    Presidential Guest Lecturer: Prof Aurelio Cappozzo, Istituto
    Universitario di Scienze Motorie, Rome, Italy. Title not yet known

    Dr Jane McPherson: Neurological Sciences Institute, Portland, Oregon.
    Sensory Integration for Balance

    Dr Dwight Meglan: Biomedical Business Development, Foster Miller Inc.,
    Waltham, MA. Induced Accelerations/Coupled Dynamics: What I was thinking 15
    years ago, where it is now and why it has become personal
