  • Skin Impedances in Kids

    Hi List,

Has anyone had any experience with high skin impedance when measuring
surface EMG in kids? We're testing 10-12 yr olds at the moment and I'm
having very little success lowering the impedances below 20k¿ without
aggressive de-braiding (which I want to avoid). We are measuring impedance
with a non-polarising meter and I have found precedence where only alcohol
was used for preparation (However, impedance was not reported).
