ANNOUNCEMENT

Department of Kinesiology, Assistant or Associate Professor, Biomechanics,
tenure track. Begins August, 2005. Qualifications include doctorate in
biomechanics or related field, publications in appropriate journals, and
demonstrated ability to attract external funding. Preference will be given to
candidates with research emphasis in gait analysis, ergonomics, or
musculoskeletal modeling. Responsibilities include: Maintain a research program
in biomechanics, publish research in refereed journals, pursue external funding
to support research activities, advise graduate students, direct master's
theses and doctoral dissertations, and teach courses in biomechanics and
related topics. Send letter of application with a brief statement of
professional objectives, curriculum vitae, representative publication reprints,
transcripts, and a listing of at least three professional references to Dr.
